Construct a miniature building
CONSTRUCT A MINIATURE BUILDING
In the class, we were assign to build a sort of look like a Ancient
Greek temple (that is my imagination) by using the modelling clay. Actually the learning outcome from this task is to get know better of how the foundation, beam, column, steel bar and type of footing.
CONSTRUCTING....
First we make 6 equal size small ball.
Then, after done with it we will turn it into a column.
By doing like that, we can get almost the same size for every column.
The columns.
Now for the foundation, we use the masking tape as a roller to make it flat easily.
Two foundation
For the steel bar we made out of recycle paper. We rolled it into a very thin bar.
Then, we place the steel bar into the column. The function of paper steel bar is to give strength for the column to withstand any load.
After added the paper steel bar into each column. The columns will place their respective point. The footing that we chose is 'Mat' footing.
The beam had been placed on top of column.
The beam
Next, the second foundation was put on top of the beam.
Final outcome. (Front view)

So called Ancient 'Greek' Temple
REFLECTION:
It was really fun and I gain some understanding about how this structure works. Actually the beam we should place it side to side with the column, not on top of it and we did not add the steel bar on the foundation. From there we can see that when our lecture was shaking the building, the structure was not that strong However, at least we know where was our mistakes.

Moving on with the next task is to choose the 3 out of 12 poses and from there each pose will have different poses so we had to draw that. Other than that, we need to draw the plan and side view with the scale for the furniture which is either 1:20 or 1:25, the scale that I had chose is 1:20 and the 3 poses is the 'doing assignment while sitting', 'Cooking' and 'Taking clothes'.
'Doing assignment while sitting'
'Taking clothes'
'Cooking'
REFLECTION:
The difficulties for this task was to draw different poses for each poses that we had chose which after took picture of myself who was doing variety of poses, than when I was trying to draw based on the picture I get confused sometime because the poses that I make was quite tough. Well at least I get to improve more from this task but I still have a long way to improve this skills.

ANTHROPOMETIC & ERGONOMIC
Now for this ask, we been assign to draw 12 different of pose that interact with any furniture.
12 poses in 1 cartridge paper
REFLECTION:
After done drawing the 12 poses, I did learn about how body movement or poses look like and get to know of how to draw this 12 poses. However the drawing still not to improve.

The new assignment is about we create a superhero or a villains character based on the insect that we had chose. Since my insect is the Miyama Stag Beetle, I had decided that I want to design a character where by it will doesn't look very scary or unapproachable because stag beetle are harmless and kind towards human being. Moreover, the name of this character is Yama because the meaning of this words is mountain. Though the design that I had design it doesn't look very strong or mighty like a mountain but I want this character to look like a normal people that wear like a army combat uniform but have a power that can help the innocent civilian and fight the enemy. Thus that is the reason why I decided to put that name.
The rough drawing (As a normal person).

REFLECTION:
To be honest, I am not good in this particular of drawing which is to draw a human body or draw any type of pose. To draw one full body took me almost 3 hours just to get the right proportion. After present my work to the lectures I receive a lot of critiques which at first I was kind of irritated but I understand what they were trying to explain it but I'm going to be honest I'm really not good in this area but I will try to improve in my figure drawing skills because now I realize that figure drawing is also important in Interior Architecture.
3D Formation
3D FORMATION
The last task for this assignment is to make a model based on the 3 keywords that we had chosen and the final abstract drawing. The model must not be same as the drawing that we did but as an inspiration for the model.
MODEL MAKING :
Making the box of 20 cm x 20 cm.
I was cutting the architecture board then I accidently cut my finger, my finger was bleed so much and I can even see my flesh on my finger.(Hahahaha)
My mock-up model
THE OUTCOME:
My model based on the keywords that I had chosen.

REFLECTION:
This task was troublesome for me because at first my mind was kind of blank and confused of how should I make it. Then after do the mock-up for 2 times I think I get to visual more or get ideas from the mock-up works. So, at the end the final model was quite satisfied.
2D Abstraction
2D ABSTRACTION
The next task is about we need to draw 4 abstract drawing based on the characteristic of our insects. Then after done with the 4 drawing. We had to choose 3 keywords from 4 abstract drawing and create another abstract drawing based on the 3 keywords we had chosen.
4 ABSTRACT DRAWING:
strong and kind
Fighter and unafraid
Decay agent and kindness
Strong and unafraid
FINAL ABSTRACT DRAWING:
The 3 keywords that I had chosen is Gentle, Bold and Degenerate. The reason I chose this keywords because Miyama Stag Beetle is a gentle insect when they were around with humans and for 'bold' is because this insect is a fighter insect whenever they meet up with enemy they will fight and unafraid with the opponent ( whatever the size is). The last keyword is 'degenerate', when this insect was a larva they live in underground and the way it survive is by eating the decaying wood and leaves. Other than that the word of 'degenerate' are meant also a the life cycle of this insect, the female and male stag beetle will mate and the female will give lay eggs in underground and took care them until the larva is fully developed into a Miyama stag beetle and the cycle will keep circle and circle.
My first drawing.
I have to draw a new one because my first drawing is not good enough.
REFLECTION:
The difficulties that I had to faced was to draw the final abstract drawing because it took me a long time to design and after showing the sketch for many times to lecture and sometimes the lecture ask me to change again or not satisfied with my work. However at the end, the drawing that I had to redraw is better than the first one.
